FIFA has launched a WhatsApp broadcast channel to give football fans global real-time updates on its activities, events, and major tournaments.

This one-way channel lets followers interact with emojis and receive regular updates from FIFA.

The content will include a wide range of news, both on and off the pitch.

Fans can expect updates about FIFA tournaments and events, such as host country announcements, coaching and refereeing workshops, and key FIFA programs like FIFA Forward, FIFA Football for Schools, and the FIFA Talent Development Scheme.

Additionally, the channel will feature posts on the FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings, iconic moments from the FIFA World Cup and FIFA Women’s World Cup, and information about volunteer opportunities and ticketing for upcoming tournaments, like the FIFA Club World Cup 2025.

FIFA aims to use the channel to highlight its efforts in making football a global sport.
